Sabrina Brodofski
Hi, I’m Sabrina Brodofski, the founder of Connecting the Dots Clinical Services. With over 20 years in healthcare, I’ve had the opportunity to wear many hats. I started as a paramedic and a Registered Nurse, working in all sorts of environments—from a group home for people with physical and mental disabilities to busy urban emergency departments and smaller rural hospitals. I’ve also spent time as a care coordinator, which has given me a lot of insight into the healthcare system. My educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ryerson University and a Master of Nursing from Athabasca University. For my master’s research, I focused on a topic very close to my heart: the experiences of adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in emergency settings. I also hold a post-graduate certificate in Diabetes Education.
My professional experiences are a big part of who I am, but my personal life has given me a truly unique perspective. As a mother of two children who have been diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and other learning and developmental disabilities, I’ve had to navigate the complex world of healthcare and support systems firsthand. This journey has taught me so much about the realities of caregiver burnout, the critical need for self-care, and the emotional impact that chronic illness and caregiving can have on a family.
When I’m not working, I love to give back to my community. I knit hats for the homeless and foster dogs, which are two things I’m very passionate about. Ultimately, I’m dedicated to helping individuals and families connect with the resources and support they need to not just survive, but to truly thrive.
